Cornubia is a large mixed-use development of about 1,200 hectares between the N2, the M41 and the R102, roughly seven kilometres south of King Shaka International Airport. It’s a joint project of the eThekwini Municipality and Tongaat Hulett that broke ground in 2012.
Cornubia Mall opened in 2017 and is the retail anchor. The Cornubia Industrial and Business Estate to the west, along with business parks such as Sigma Business Park and Ushukela Industrial Park, houses manufacturing, printing and logistics firms.
A growing area brings new residents who don’t yet have favourite suppliers, and new businesses setting up. Getting found early is an advantage.
